Hi friend! We are so excited to be tagging along on this journey with you. Aside from being your wedding photographers, we take on some additional roles as well. 

After our initial consultation where we get to hear all about your wedding day and vision, we will also schedule a check-in with you closer to your wedding. Ahead of this meeting we will send you some helpful planning documents that we will go over together. The main piece of this is the Wedding Day Itinerary. Based on the package that you selected, we will go over the start and end times of the day and all of the in-betweens, to ensure that we best cover off all of your must haves for the day. 

It is really important for us to stay organized and having this schedule ensures that we are able to move things along, and your wedding day feels as smooth as possible. Aside from the timetable, we will also provide you with a template for all of the formal photo combinations that you would like captured. This also ensures that we can maximize our time and be as efficient as possible. We also recommend that you let your family members know ahead of time that you have requested they remain after the ceremony for formal photos, but we will get into all of that during our chit chat. 

We will also decide on the order in which you want the photos taken- couple photos first vs. wedding party? First look? Together we will assess all of these moving parts of your day, and collaborate on what works best for you as a couple and what we can realistically fit into your timetable. Of course, if we can sneak you away for some golden hour photos after dinner that would just be splendid! Highly recommend adding this fun element to your itinerary- they make for the most gorgeous photos! 

So you’re kind of a big deal and the main event of the day. Because of this, we want to ensure that we have enough time in the schedule not to feel rushed during your wedding day photoshoot. This little pocket of time is so important, so we will chat about location options, transportation etc. This is always the highlight of the day for us and we can’t wait to make some magic! 

In the height of wedding season, our turnaround time is 6-8 weeks (BTW our Luxe package guarantees a 4 week turnaround). I want you to see your photos just as badly as you want to see them! Trust us, we know how anxious you are to receive your gallery, so please know that we are working hard behind the scenes to edit each amazing picture and finalize your gallery. I do love a good sneak peek, so please follow along on our FB and IG because I will be posting there. All couples receive their fully edited high-res photos in a password protected gallery where each photo can be downloaded directly onto your preferred device. Couples are guaranteed one year access to the gallery (we think that’s enough time to download and back up your wedding photos). 

After the gallery has been delivered and you are still basking in that newlywed glow and sharing your pics all over socials, please feel free to give us a shout out to any of your friends and family that may also be interested in our services. The best compliment you can give your photographers is a referral and we so appreciate the love! 

With all of the excitement being centered around the wedding we cannot forget about engagement photos!  This is always a super fun experience because it allows us to get to know each other even better, and is the perfect trial run for the big day. Engagement photos are always a highlight for me as your photographer, and I love the relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy going on adventures with clients and if you have a particular vision for these photos lets chat! I can answer any questions that you may have from wardrobe, to location, timing, posing etc. Think of me as your BFF! I’m there to hype you both up and capture some amazing moments that you will cherish forever. 

Think about your engagement session -is it during the beautiful rich colour scape of the changing leaves? Are we hanging out on the beach on a warm summer evening popping some bubbly? Maybe you love the gorgeous white backdrop of freshly fallen snow and want to get bundled up with some cute hats and mitts, while taking a stroll in a winter wonderland (let’s get Starbucks first!). Maybe you want more of an urban vibe -something edgier or sexier? Whatever your vision, I am down and cannot wait to make this come to life for you. Some couples know exactly where they want their sessions to be (this can be a sentimental location- like where you first met, or got engaged). Others are not so sure and that is OK.  This is where I come in! I have years of experience location scouting and know of some great places, so once you have an idea of the season for your session, let me know asap, so we can lock a date in and start chatting about ideas.
